For established patients, Web visits are available to treat non-urgent health concerns. Using a secure online platform, patients consult with an LMG provider. Necessary prescriptions are communicated electronically to the pharmacy.
Available to patients who have been seen in our office within the past three months, virtual housecalls are commonly used to evaluate and treat:
- Common cold and upper respiratory infection symptoms
- Urinary tract infection
- Medication refills (exclusive of pain medications)
- Review lab and diagnostic test results
Our Web visits are conducted through RelayHealth, a platform that facilitates HIPPA-compliant communication between provider and patient. Once a request is submitted for a virtual housecall, a LoCicero Medical Group provider will respond within 8 hours or one business day, exclusive of weekends.
Select insurance companies provide Web visit coverage. Please verify benefits with your insurance provider prior to requesting a Web visit. Patients will be responsible for their co-payment. For patients without Web visit coverage, a payment of $30 is due for this online service.
